Problem: High temperature abrasion from flowing coal fly ash wears away ceramic wear tile grout lines resulting in tile delamination in <8 months.
Solution: T7 AR, one of ARC’s wear resistant coatings, was applied at 240-320 mils in a monolithic layer.
Result: After 10 months in service no noticeable wear.
